What we offer

At the Made New Foundation, we offer a range of services designed to support individuals at every stage of their journey and empower our greater community.

We offer our flagship program, Reimagining Reality, which leverages virtual reality (VR) technology to support three specific groups – local youth, incarcerated individuals, and those who have recently re-entered the community from prison – helping them build confidence, address current issues and stress factors, and learn valuable life skills.

We also offer community programs like entrepreneurship courses and food and clothing assistance because we know that educational and economic stability are foundational parts of what makes communities thrive and helps keep individuals out of the prison system.

Reimagining Reality

Youth programs

We connect with young adults living within Los Angeles County who are system-impacted, gang-involved, incarcerated or previously incarcerated, or at risk of substance abuse disorders to provide them with support and mentorship to ultimately prevent substance abuse disorders or reincarceration.

Pre-entry programs

We connect with incarcerated individuals across California and use cutting-edge VR and AI technology to create lifelike reentry simulations that provide returning citizens with immersive job interview practice, workplace training, and real-world scenarios, helping build confidence, develop critical skills, and prepare individuals for the challenges of re-entry.

Re-entry programs

We connect with individuals who have recently paroled and offer services ranging from a ride home to food assistance to transitional housing and local shelters. We also partner with local colleges, vocational schools, and employers to provide financial literacy courses, job training, certifications, and career pathways to help individuals achieve stability and self-sufficiency, and lower the likelihood of recidivism.

Food & clothing assistance

We provide access to food, clothing, and housing assistance to help our community members meet their basic needs, allowing them to overcome economic hardship and focus on their journey towards a better future.
