Pre-Entry Programs

We offer two main, in-person programs to men and women who are currently incarcerated, leveraging VR technology as well as a theatre arts program.

Together, these programs provide inmates with a holistic approach that addresses social justice issues, promotes personal development, and empowers them to become agents of positive change.

Our ultimate goal is to help individuals build confidence, foster a sense of community, and get ready for their eventual return home.

Virtual reality

Using our VR headsets and 360-degree content, we’ll immerse you in interactive, computer-generated environments where you’ll have the opportunity to practice essential life skills and receive valuable training in a safe and controlled setting.

We tackle common re-entry challenges head-on by simulating real-life scenarios like community interactions, stress management and coping strategies, communication and interpersonal skills, job situations, and social settings.

You’ll also have access to mentors and support staff who can provide guidance, answer questions, and offer encouragement throughout the program.

Our VR program is designed to complement traditional learning methods and includes workshops, group discussions, and other activities that reinforce the skills learned in VR.

The model aims to create a holistic learning environment that supports successful reintegration into society.

We believe in the incredible power of the arts to transform lives, heal communities, and foster resilience in the face of adversity. Our program is built on the foundation of the personal journeys of our teaching artists who have returned to their communities after serving time, armed with the knowledge, tools, and passion to empower others through the arts.

Through authentic shared experiences and voices, we create a supportive and safe space where you can explore your creativity, express yourself, and engage in activities that help you process emotions.

We foster a culture of emotional reasoning, and recognize that creativity is not just a means of self-expression but also a powerful catalyst for personal growth, emotional healing, and community building.
