How do I sign up for one of your programs?

To enroll in any of our programs, click the “Get Started” button on our Programs page and fill out the form, selecting the program you’re interested in from the drop-down menu. Our team will be in touch with you to discuss your goals, assess your needs, and guide you through the enrollment process.

Do I have to pay to participate in a program?

No, all of our programs and services are funded by community grants and donations and are offered free of charge to ensure that anyone who needs support can access it, regardless of his or her financial situation.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Once your donation is processed, you will receive an email confirmation of your receipt. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam folder or contact us.

How are donations used?

We use donations to fund crucial programs such as our flagship Reimagining Reality, as well as community support such as clothing, food, and housing assistance.

How can I stay updated on the impact of my donation?

We send regular updates to our donors showcasing the progress and impact of our programs. You can also sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media for more frequent updates.

Volunteer

What qualifications, trainings, or costs are associated with volunteering?

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. As long as you’re passionate about our cause and willing to lend a hand, you’re more than qualified to join our team. We’ll provide any necessary training, resources, and support to volunteer as part of our team.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

We offer diverse volunteer roles suited to various interests and skills. From mentoring to program facilitation to administrative support, there’s something for everyone. We do our best to match you to volunteer opportunities based on your skills, interests, and availability.

Do I need to complete a background check?

Depending on the role you may be required to complete a pre-screening or background check to ensure the safety, security, and privacy of our participants. We will let you know if this is necessary for your role.

Where are you located?

Our main office is located at 3650 W. Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite #103 in Los Angeles. If you’d like to schedule a visit or attend one of our events, please contact us to confirm the location and details or follow along on our social media for current event updates.

What communities do you serve?

We serve the greater Los Angeles community through youth services and community assistance, and we offer pre- and re-entry services to incarcerated individuals across the state of California. If we don’t offer a service or program in your area please contact us as we are part of a large network of providers and we will likely be able to connect you with other organizations to get you the specific support you need.
